The Kingswood House Parents’ Association (KHA) is a valuable and important part of our school. It raises funds and organises social events to unite parents, staff and pupils throughout the year.
Each family pays an annual membership fee of £10 on the school fees. Officers are elected annually in September and any parent wishing to become a member of the committee is warmly invited to the AGM at the outset of the academic year or to contact the Chair of the KHA after this time. Among the usual calendar events are the Comedy Night, Fireworks Evening, Summer Ball, Quiz Night and “Jollies” (a summer fête).
There is an active Class Representative profile within the school and a meeting is held with the Headmaster and the Bursar each term in order to discuss topical issues. Any parent who wishes to become a Class Rep should put themselves forward by half term of the summer term for the following year by speaking to the designated officer from the KHA.
