'It was lovely to see so many of you yesterday and I am truly moved to have read your wonderful comments. Thank you so much to all of you who came and shared a very special day.'
Mr Peter Brooks following our Alumni Afternoon Event on Sunday 21 May 2017
Are you a former pupil of Kingswood House? If so, we’d love to hear from you and what you’ve been up to since you left school.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with all your news. We can then add you to our database and keep you up to date with life at KHS.
We often welcome ‘old boys’ to school and their first visit is always to find their place on the wall! Liam visited us at our recent Open Morning. Liam was Head Boy 2006-07 and went on to RGS. He now works at KPMG in Canary Wharf as an auditor.
“I live in Sydney, Australia these days and own my own Real Estate Agency. I’m also married to Amanda with two children, Lucy & Harry. I’m coming back over to sunny Epsom around 18th September 2015 for a couple of weeks and would love to visit the school again – (see if my bricks are still there) meet Mr Brooks and see what changes have occurred. We can always say I’m your special overseas guest visiting for your 40th year anniversary!” Dec 14
Matthew Muncey – World Champion!
Matthew has recently returned from the World Championship in Abu Dhabi with two more world titles under his belt (World Champion in Boys Wakeboard and World Champion in Open Men’s Features – this is rail and obstacle riding) and took third place in Open Men’s Wakeskate.
He got into this after trying out the activity while on a Kingswood House Activity week a few years ago. Matthew left KHS in 2011.
Old Boy Wows St Paul’s
Former pupil Timothy Kang has made an extremely impressive start at St Paul’s School. According to the school he has “received a spectacular first set of grades on which he was congratulated by the High Master and has three academic commendations to his name”. Timothy left KHS in 2013.
“My wife and I are totally sold on sending our son to the School and it was so refreshing to meet all the staff who we felt so comfortable with. In all honesty, nothing has changed since my day really. I have always known that KHS was the school of choice for me.”
“My years at KHS were quite the happiest of my school life…Indeed, to this day, the Kingswood House shield hangs proudly by my desk in my office.”
Christopher Price (1970)
“Memories of Kingswood House never leave, which is why so many that have left appreciate the School so much. It was a place to forge longlasting friendships, which have survived over the years, and will continue to do so…”
Liam Cheek (2007)
“Mr Scott Malden encouraging boys to read a broadsheet every day (a challenge at that age) was an excellent tip, and no other teacher I came across for the rest of my education chose to make such a valuable recommendation.”
Andrew Newcombe (1975)
Former KHS Headmaster, Chris Scott-Malden, died on 28th February 2013 at the age of 86.
