Year 5 had an excellent trip last week to Marchants Hill PGL centre in Hindhead.  We were greeted at the site by our group leader “Cam” who then sang “repeat after me songs” with the boys persistently throughout the course of the week.  I would love to say that Mrs Watkins would have been proud but I feel Twickenham, rather that the Royal Opera House, might have been a better setting for our level of singing.

Throughout the week we experienced a number of activities including Zip wire from 10 metres high, Powerfan (jumping off a 10 metre tower attached to a piece of rope), Giant Swing and Aeroball.  We also took part in a number of team building activities such as orienteering, surviving on a desert Island and group games.

The purpose of our visit was to allow teachers and pupils to bond and learn more about one another.  It was a great success and we are currently looking to book another PGL visit for Year 5 next year.
