Dear Parents
Please note the following information carefully in respect of tomorrow. I am writing to you now in order to give you as much time as possible to make the necessary arrangements.
Due to treacherous current weather conditions, an adverse forecast and limited public transport, Kingswood House will close on Friday afternoon.
All pupils in Lower Prep (Reception-Year 4) must be collected promptly at 12.30pm.
All pupils in Upper Prep (Year 5- Year 8) and Seniors (Years 9 & 10) must be collected promptly at 1.00pm.
All pupils must leave the school premises at this time as there will not be supervision in the afternoon.
Lunch will not be provided at school tomorrow.
The programme for Year 8 exams will run as scheduled tomorrow morning.
The Year 10 student interviews which were scheduled in the afternoon with Mr Rudkin and myself will be rearranged.
The Year 5 scholarship morning on Saturday will run as planned. Mr March will contact you if this changes.
Please make a sensible decision about whether to bring your son into school tomorrow morning based on safety first and foremost.
Please note that the Mr Alijoski’s run (Wimbledon) and Mrs Monk’s run (Leatherhead) will not be operating tomorrow morning. Mr Sarti and Mr Hylands runs will be operating unless they consider it unsafe in the morning, in which case they will contact you.
I will authorise absences on this occasion due to the extreme weather but you must inform Mrs Harding in the school office at your earliest convenience in order for this to happen; the registration of pupils is a statutory requirement and it is unacceptable for parents not to inform the office of a pupil absence.

Yours sincerely
Duncan Murphy
Headmaster
