Jersey Tour

We left the School at the ridiculous hour of 5:30am and the flight was really exciting as two boys had never flown before. We arrived shortly in Jersey and went to Jersey Zoo. The Wednesday was also the day of the Football Tournament but unfortunately we weren’t very good! On Thursday the boys went shopping and we did really well in the Hockey Tournament reaching the semi-final and losing out narrowly to the eventual winners. Went for a swim in the evening and everyone changed for dinner so the boys all looked incredibly smart in their suits! Friday was the big one – the Rugby 7s but first we had more shopping to do and a quick run around the beach. Mother’s Day presents were bought and we turned up at the ground and got weighted (not me, the boys!). After the opening rounds we were the bookies favourite for the final with St Michael’s Jersey. However, the wheels came off against Skippers Hill and our hopes were dashed! But never fear, there is always the disco! On Saturday, it was England v Jersey and some of our boys had been selected for their first international which we all watched. Then it was back to the airport and thankfully, for me, home to rest!

Welcome to the Head

Matthew Bryan

“It’s a huge privilege to be coming in as Head at Kingswood House, particularly in this its 125th year. KHS is an exciting, kind, progressive and ambitious school and I’m looking forward to building on the foundations laid by my predecessors to take the school from strength to strength”.
