We were delighted to welcome David Walliams to Kingswood House School on the morning of Wednesday 4th March. After visiting our youngest classes, David joined the remainder of the school in the hall where he was expertly interviewed by a panel of Year 4 boys. Following this very entertaining interview, David read a chapter from his bestseller, Gangsta Granny – which was also adapted for television – before answering a number of questions from the audience. David kept us enthralled throughout and we would like to thank him for such a fantastic morning!
We would like to wish David all the best on his monumental ‘Whirlwind World Book Day Tour’, which involves visiting schools by helicopter in England, Wales and Scotland, all in one day! We are extremely grateful to David for spending time with us here at Kingswood House, particularly during such a busy week for authors! We would also like to thank his publisher, HarperCollins, who organised the visit.
