What an incredible event – David Walliams came to our school today, and what a delightful man; so humble and considerate to all our boys.

He made time for each of their questions and was not only sympathetic with the answers, he also managed to convey messages in his replies.  How inspiring for the pupils of Kingswood House to have such an auspicious visitor.

I found him to be very considerate as we went round the school and visited the children in Pre-Prep.  After a question and answer panel with 3 of our boys, David read a piece from one of his books, Gangsta Granny and had the boys and staff in raptures as he talked about things that made him laugh.

One of the boys’ questions was about David at school and whether or not he had been a naughty boy, “not really but I did get to throw custard pies in the faces of our teachers”!

Another great day to remember in the history of Kingswood House School.

Well done David and thank you for making it so memorable for all of us.
