Current Admissions Process re: Coronavirus

Kingswood House is open to applications for prospective pupils.

Please email Mrs Helen Parker, Registrar, to arrange an initial conversation about your son and to check availability in his year group:

Following the government’s declaration that all schools must close to pupils on Friday 20th March, we still intend to operate a ‘business as usual’ approach to applications for prospective pupils and have our normal administrative processes and staff in place to deal expediently with any enquiries.

Whilst the school is shut, and the government has not decreed a period of compulsory self-isolation, families may still visit for a meeting with the Headmaster and other relevant staff by appointment. A telephone meeting can be organised as an alternative, should this be necessary, via the registrar.

Since a taster day will not be possible whilst the school is shut, a place at Kingswood House will currently be offered subject to the completion of a registration form, an age-appropriate academic screening held at the school by arrangement and receipt of a good reference from your son’s current school.

The next Open Morning is scheduled on Friday 1st May. We intend to be open for visitors on this day, subject to government advice, and urge prospective visitors to book in advance online or by telephone in order that we can update you with relevant information nearer the time.

We look forward to hearing from you!
